China International Tire Expo 2026 Concludes with Record-Breaking Success

China International Tire Expo (CITEXPO) 2026 successfully concluded in Shanghai, marking another remarkable and record-breaking chapter for one of Asia-Pacific’s leading tire and wheel industry exhibitions.

Held from 2–4 September 2026 at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center, CITEXPO 2026 once again brought together tire and wheel manufacturers, suppliers, buyers, distributors, traders, industry professionals, media partners, and visitors from across the globe.

Over three dynamic days, the exhibition halls were filled with new products, technologies, business discussions, supplier meetings, and international networking. The strong participation and growing number of new and overseas visitors further demonstrated CITEXPO’s expanding influence within the global tire and wheel industry.

CITEXPO 2026 in Numbers

CITEXPO 2026 delivered another strong performance, attracting more than 15,000 industry visitors and 400+ tire & wheel exhibitors. Participants represented more than 140 countries and regions, while the exhibition covered approximately 40,000 square metres.

These figures demonstrate not only the scale of the exhibition, but also its ability to bring together a highly international community of tire and wheel professionals in one location.

A high 94% participant satisfaction level further reflected the value visitors and industry professionals found at the exhibition, from sourcing and networking to discovering new products and exploring potential business partnerships.

A Truly Global Tire and Wheel Marketplace

International participation remained one of the defining characteristics of CITEXPO 2026, with approximately 45% of visitors coming from overseas markets.

Participants travelled from across the world, with Europe & Russia accounting for 25% of international participation, making it the largest overseas regional group. This was followed by Southeast Asia at 20.4% and East Asia at 14.2%.

The Middle East represented 10.1%, followed by North America at 8%, Africa at 6.7%, South Asia and Oceania at 5.9% each, and South America at 3.8%.

With professionals participating from more than 140 countries and regions, CITEXPO continues to provide exhibitors with access to a broad international audience while giving visitors opportunities to meet suppliers, discover new markets, and develop relationships across key global regions.

Growing International Reach & New Visitor Engagement

CITEXPO continued to strengthen its international reach in 2026, with the number of foreign buyers increasing by 22.01% year-on-year. This growth highlights the exhibition’s increasing appeal among overseas buyers and reinforces CITEXPO’s role as an international platform for sourcing, networking, and business development.

At the same time, 66.6% of visitors attended CITEXPO for the first time, demonstrating the show’s ability to attract new industry professionals and fresh interest from the global tire and wheel market. The strong presence of first-time visitors also brings new companies, ideas, and potential partnerships into the CITEXPO community.

Together, the growth in foreign buyers and the high proportion of new visitors create a dynamic business environment where returning participants and new industry professionals can connect directly with manufacturers, explore products and solutions, build valuable relationships, and discover new business opportunities.
