CITEXPO 2025 Marks 20th Anniversary with Record-Breaking Success

The 20th edition of China International Tire Expo (CITEXPO) concluded with resounding success, reaffirming its position as the largest tire and wheel trade show in the Asia-Pacific region! Since its debut in 2003, CITEXPO has grown into the premier international platform connecting the global tire and wheel industry.

Held from September 3–5, 2025 at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center, this milestone event welcomed over 15,000 professional visitors from 140+ countries, spanning across two massive halls with more than 400 exhibitors and 40,000 sqm of exhibit space. The vibrant trade atmosphere was evident as manufacturers, importers, distributors, dealers, and business owners actively engaged in business discussions, sourcing opportunities, and long-term partnerships.

This year also recorded a remarkable increase in PreVI (Pre-Registered Visitors), which rose by more than over 20% compared to 2024. This growth clearly reflects the rising anticipation and global recognition of CITEXPO as a must-attend event for the tire and wheel industry.

Together with CITEXPO, the sub-show CITWTEXPO (China International Tire & Wheel Technology Expo) also returned this year in Hall 2. First launched in 2024, this is the second edition of CITWTEXPO, dedicated to the technical side of the tire and wheel industry. Featuring tire and wheel machinery, raw materials, R&D, testing equipment, and production technologies, CITWTEXPO complemented the main exhibition, creating a complete platform that drives both business opportunities and industry innovation.

CITEXPO 2025 also marked a new level of collaboration with both local and international media partners, ensuring global visibility and outreach. Media coverage from China, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Americas helped amplify the impact of the show, highlighting its role as a bridge between Chinese manufacturers and the global market.

In the backdrop of ongoing global trade tensions, Chinese tire manufacturers showcased their adaptability and resilience. Many exhibitors highlighted their overseas factories and international expansion strategies, offering buyers more flexibility in sourcing tires and wheels from multiple regions worldwide. This not only demonstrated China’s manufacturing strength but also reassured global buyers of supply stability despite the challenges of the trade war.

According to an internal survey conducted by the CITEXPO team, visitor satisfaction reached more than 95%, showing the exhibition’s continuous improvement and strong commitment to delivering value for both exhibitors and attendees. With its 20th anniversary setting new records in scale, satisfaction, and international impact, CITEXPO will return next year!
