EV & Clean Energy Might Drive Growth in the Demand for Mining Tires!

The government is making significant efforts to increase the use of electric vehicles and promote the use of renewable energy sources. This will have a positive impact on the mining sector, which plays a crucial role in providing the raw materials required for these technologies. The crisis in Europe's fuel supply has also led to a rise in coal mining.

According to Rob Seibert, the president of Off The Road at Bridgestone Americas, the demand for mining commodities has been strong in 2022, with copper, coal, and gold prices remaining high throughout the year. He predicts that 2023 will also be a strong year for the mining market as commodity prices continue to rise.

Similarly, Bruce Besancon, the Vice President of Marketing of Yokohama Off-Highway Tires America, reported strong sales of tires for both original equipment and replacement markets in both underground and open-pit mining.

To meet the growing global demand for mining tires, tire manufacturers are maintaining a consistent rate of production. Grab the opportunity to experience the newest advancements in the tire industry and reconnect with the Chinese tire market once again by participating in our show, the China International Tire Expo on 4-6 September 2023 at Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center. See you this year!
