The 7th CITEXPO is holding its strength

The 7th CITEXPO will again be held at Shanghai Everbright Convention and Exhibition Center in September 9,10 & 11, 2009 which makes a lucky number sequence of 09-09-09 for the opening of the show. The digit 9 is considered the luckiest of all single-digit numerals meaning long life, full and sufficient. So September 9, 2009, or 09-09-09, is not only an easy to remember date, it is also a very fortuitous one. The organizer of the CITExpo exhibition in Shanghai, Reliable International Exhibition Services Co.,Ltd., certainly hopes this will prove to be the case of this years show.

According to the organizer, Reliable, it has been a tough year for the worldwide tire business and trading. Many manufacturers and suppliers closed down their business which includes a wide spread of products such as tire, wheel, accessoriesetc. Wilko Fong, Reliables Managing Director, mentioned that the remaining players in the market are the relatively strong and quality companies. Although these companies are unexceptionally suffering from the shrinking of the market demand, most of them are positively looking for opportunity to promote their brands and products to the market. Many of the exhibitors in the seventh edition of CITEXPO have booked bigger stands than last year in order to enhance their company images and to show their new products to the market. They see this as a positive and effective way of resisting the shrinking market demand. On the other hand, the buying power has been cumulated in the past year and the worldwide traders would need to refill their stock at this economy recovering moment.
Wilko said that CITEXPO 2009 are continuing to keep pace with expectations and are not showing negative signs of being affected by the recent financial storm. He also said that CITEXPO has been expanding its size and the number of exhibitors since its first edition in 2003 and the show has now developed into a mature and trusted platform in the worldwide tire industry, with its solid foundation, it can now resist the recent once-in-a-century financial crisis.

Reliable says that as of July, 95 per cent of floor space had already been booked by more than 250 exhibitors, This number is larger comparing to the same moment in the last year and the overall exhibition space has exceeded the last years size. The organizer anticipates that nearly 300 high quality exhibitors will commit to the show this year and they will be showcasing their latest products and technology in CITEXPO 2009 including radial tires, bias tires, wheels/rims, tire maintenance equipments, retread materials and equipments, tire production material and equipment and other related products. Reliable also stated that the show will occupy two exhibition halls in the same West hall building of Shanghai Everbright Convention and Exhibition Center this year instead of using two separate buildings of the venue last year, which will certainly help the visitors to walk the show and look for their suppliers more efficiently and easily.

Besides the major Chinese manufacturers, some foreign brands such as Copper ChengShan Tire from USA, Nankang from Taiwan(China), Maxam Tire and ACACIA Wheels from Italy, Hofmann from Germany, S&H Tyres BV and The VMI Group from Holland, 31 Incorporated from USA, Zumbo Wheels from Australia, Stamford from Singaporeetc will be presented by their Chinese representatives, joint venture companies and other suppliers in this years show.

Organizer helped to boost the global market share of Chinese products
